Canine Lodging
Which vaccines do you require?
Should I bring my own food?
We recommend bringing your dog’s food from home, especially if they have dietary restrictions or require a special formula for health issues. Our house food is Fromm Natural Adult (dry) and is available for $5/day.
Should I bring bedding & bowls?
Each suite is furnished with everything your pet will need, including clean bowls each day and a raised Kuranda bed for comfort. However, if your pet has a favorite bed or blanket, you are welcome to bring it!
Should I bring toys?
Of course! Since we have plenty of toys for he/she to enjoy during their stay, personal toys will remain in their suite if they are joining a play group with other dogs.
OK, so what should I NOT bring?
Each item that comes in with your pet is inventoried and labeled, but accidents can happen! We highly recommend leaving anything breakable, damageable, or irreplaceable at home.
How many potty breaks will my dog get?
Guests lodging in accommodations without an outdoor patio will receive three standard potty breaks throughout the day. Guests with private patios will have access to their outdoor area for the majority of the day. We offer activities for all energy types, including extra potty breaks!
Feline Lodging
Which vaccines do you require?
Rabies (1 year)
Feline Distemper (1 year)
Should I bring my own food?
We highly recommend sending your feline friend with food from home to maintain their normal feeding routine. Meals are prepared individually for each feline guest in the Kitty Kitchen which has its own refrigerator, if your cat’s food is temperature sensitive.
House food is Fromm Four-Star Nutritionals “Chicken a la Veg” recipe and is available for $1/day.
Do you offer kitty activities?
Of course! We offer activities suitable for all energy levels and personalities. We also offer activity packages so your cat can maximize their fun without busting your budget!
Do you have kitty webcams?
Yes! All of our Kitty Rooms are equipped with a webcam, accessible by computer or smartphone at any time.
Should I bring my own bedding & bowls?
Each suite offers cozy bedding, a fresh litter box daily, and clean bowls for each meal. If your cat enjoys a bed or blanket from home, you are welcome to bring it!
Doggie Daycare
How do you ensure the group gets along?
Play groups are supervised at all times by staff members trained in canine communication and body language. Before being admitted to any group activities, the dog must successfully pass our temperament evaluation which includes observing their behavior in a variety of common daycare environments and scenarios.
Is daycare indoor or outdoor?
Both! Daycare groups may enjoy play time in our outdoor play yards equipped with an in-ground swimming pool and cooling mist fans, or in our climate-controlled indoor play rooms.
My older dog loves to play, but may tire quickly. Will he/she be able to rest?
Daycare attendants closely monitor the happiness and health of each member of the pack. If your dog appears to be over-exhausted, overwhelmed, or otherwise not themselves, we will ensure they receive individualized care and extra rest time based on their needs and energy level.
What if my dog normally eats a mid-day meal?
12PM-1PM is “Quiet Time”. Daycare dogs will spend this time in their own personal suite to have some “me” time and enjoy a peaceful lunch.
Grooming
What is your grooming process?
Pets are generally washed and dried before the groom. A clean pet is easier to groom than a dirty one. After your pet is nice and clean, the groomer will clip their nails, clean their ears, and begin the cutting process. When your pet is finished with their groom, we will call you to let you know they’re available for pick up.
How long will it take to groom my dog?
We generally ask for 3-4 hours, however this may be shorter or longer depending on the dog’s size, breed, and coat condition.
We usually have 2 pets that we are working on at once, alternating them each between grooming and taking a break. We find this to be both beneficial for the pets, giving them an opportunity to rest and relax, as well as more efficient for the groomers.
We also offer an “express” groom, which means your pet will be worked on start to finish without any “break” times. Depending on the pet we can generally do this in about an hour and a half to two hours. There is an extra charge for this service, as it requires the groomer to adjust their schedule to accommodate.
Can my dog be groomed during their lodging stay?
Definitely! Please let a Receptionist know you would like your pet to be groomed when you are making their lodging reservation.
Do you groom cats?
Yes, but check with each location for availability. We like to schedule cat grooms first thing in the morning before the majority of our dog appointments arrive. This helps keep the cats happier and calmer.
Do you express anal glands?
All dogs have different needs when it comes to their anal glands, because of this we only perform this service when asked and when it does not provide injury or discomfort to the dog. Should your pet have impacted anal glands and need internal expression, a vet will need to provide this service. This service is $6 when added to a bath or groom and $10 as a stand-alone service
What if I am late to my appointment?
Each groomer has specific appointment times they take throughout the day for grooming. Please attempt to arrive promptly for your appointment. If you will be more than 15 minutes late, we may have to call you to reschedule as we do have appointments coming in after you.
What if I am not happy with my groom?
Please check over your groom before you leave so if there is something you want changed we can fix it right away. We are also happy to make any changes or fix any problems with a groom within 5 days of your original appointment. Our groomers will always work to give your pet the cut that you want, however, keep in mind that your pets comfort and health are always our number one priority. We cannot send a dog or cat home in an unhealthy state. We will always keep notes on who groomed your pet and what was done for the groom. You are always able to request the same groomer and if they are not available, another groomer will be able to read notes on how your pet was cut.
